1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Miznah (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What the App is
Miznah is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking tool. All data you enter is stored locally on your own device — see the Privacy Policy for details. There is no account system and no server.
3. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal budgeting purposes.
This license does not permit you to:
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App, except to the extent applicable law gives you a right to do so despite this restriction;
- redistribute, resell, sublicense, or repackage the App, its code, or its assets (name, icon, logo, UI design) as your own or another product;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice contained in the App.
4. Ownership
The App, including its source code, design, name, and logo, is owned by the developer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — you receive only the limited license described in Section 3.
5. Your data
You retain full ownership of the financial data you enter into the App. Because the App stores everything locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing it up (via the App's built-in export feature) and for the security of your own device. The developer has no access to your data and cannot recover it if your device is lost, damaged, or reset without a backup.
6. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Miznah is a personal organizational tool, not financial, tax, or legal advice — decisions you make based on figures shown in the App are your own responsibility.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data not backed up by you. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Changes to the App or these Terms
The App and these Terms may be updated over time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this document, dated at the top. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms — for example, by redistributing the App or its assets as your own. Uninstalling the App also ends your license to use it.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory law of your home jurisdiction provides otherwise.

Except for the open-source third-party libraries it is built with (Flutter, Hive, flutter_riverpod, fl_chart, intl, uuid, path_provider, local_auth — each under its own open-source license), all source code, graphics, text, and other content are original works.
